June Gloom
Am at Embassy Suites on La Jolla Village Road and cannot sleep cuz of the jets from Miramar AF base( I assume) and the drinkers at the bar. Ridiculous that I can hear them when I'm on the 7th floor. So tired because I got up at 4am to get to San Diego for my meeting.
So decided to post this: I am back to getting crafty. Spent last weekend unpacking the last boxes from Japan and decided to get serious about knitting again. It relaxes me and keeps me balanced. So finished a throw I was working on and luv it! It's so soft! I found the pattern at Ravelry.com but can't remember which pattern it was. But it was so easy to make and quick. Luv it!
Yuki-chan and Professor also love it so we shall see who becomes the "owner" of the throw. I was on a roll so also unpacked the last box labeled "dogs" and found the toys that the dogs luved in Japan. Two of their favorites were in pretty bad shape so got my sewing box out and mended them. As soon as I finished, Yuki-chan went after them and made them her property. Skipper seemed OK with it. His priority these days are a nice back rub, and lots of love and hugging before he takes his naps/sleep on his favorite ottoman.

Skipper sniffed them and then didn't seem to care. He was most concern that his sleeping chair still belonged to him
Oh so tired, yet can't sleep. But will try as tomorrow is going to be a long day! Good nite...
