Sun and 10Ft plus Waves - Surf's UP!
Last Saturday, my BFF Linda came over. We had lunch and planned our upcoming long weekend in Paris. Linda brought Hiyashi Chuka, cold Chinese noodles with eggs, chicken, cucumbers in a sesame dressing. And I forgot to take a photo!
I made 2 delicious, summery dishes from Ottolenghi's Cookbook. A salad made of wild arugula, basil, mission figs and pecoroni cheese dressed in an olive oil and honey dressing which was quite delicious and sauteed shrimp with roma tomatoes, kalamata olives, garlic and a dash of Pernod. Yum. I love that cookbook but loved catching up with LInda even more.
