So I continue to read books from the boxes from Japan.   I finally read Memoirs of a Geisha.  Fast reading and enjoyable.  Made me miss Japan.  But it is fiction.  And I did not like it enough to consider it a classic and something I will keep in my "library".  So it goes in the box of books that go to Goodwill.  My next book is "The Prize".  Another 800 page plus book.  But this one is fascinating!  It's a non-fiction book on oil.  And with gas prices as it is,  makes it even more fascinating.  We'll see how long it takes me to read this book.
