Malibu, California
Sunny with Gorgeous Skies but COLD!
On my last full day at Boulder, my sister's family and I decided to take a walk through Boulder Valley Ranch, a beautiful park dotted with many trails. We took the trail my brother in law Bill runs every other morning. We also took Zuma, my sister's family dog for a long walk. Boulder has been unusually warm so no snow for a change! The temperatures were in the 50s so a great day for a nice long walk. The walk was on a gentle wide path and pretty easy and just the right distance. It took us only about about an hour to do a 2.5 mile loop. Zuma had a blast and so did the kids although they complained at the beginning. I'm glad I got at least one hike in while there as they really do have many beautiful trails in that part of the country. Here are some photos from the walk.
Jackson enjoying the walk with Zuma
Jackson was in charge of carrying Zuma's poop for the 1st half of the walk.
6ft.5inches tall Billy did the hike in shorts and ran part of it. He was responsible for carrying Zuma's poop during the 2nd half of the walk.
The views from the hike. There is a ranch nearby but many of the cows were shy on the day we took the walk.
And I found out that Billy modelled for a senior in his high school. The senior decided to do photography as her senior project. And she wanted Billy to model! I know he is my nephew but I do think he is a very handsome boy.
And finally, the family photo taken at "The Kitchen" on Pearl Street in Boulder. I had a fabulous X'mas weekend with the family. I already miss them!
